This is attached to a gas station and they have amazing home cooked food. They have boudin sausages. How convenient is this? I can get a gas fill up and tall boy, then stroll into Billeaud's Too and order a couple of boudin to go? It's spicy with bits of pork bits and well seasoned rice. They have great food down here. They can even pack up the boudin for refrigeration or frozen ready to ship. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

We don't have many breakfast options around here, but this place isn't too bad. They have quite a few options, and when I was working at our facility across the street we kept the place packed. We were looking for breakfast one day, and it was the only place I could find. I had a little bit of everything, and have to say it really weighed me down. The best thing hands down was the seafood omelet. I really enjoyed it, but by the time I got it I had already ate through half the menu. I knock some stars because it is in a gas station, and the food was a tad bit heavier than I felt like it should have been, but then again I did eat through half the menu....

These are the places that you hear about. Down home, real deal. Louisiana Cajun cooking. It takes some getting used to that you are parked at a gas station eating your lunch... but that's how they do in LA. The plate lunches here are absolutely TOP NOTCH. You will need a nap afterwards. And the Ladies that work here and prepare the meals are super nice, salt of the Earth types. I recommend the red beans & rice with sausage. Absolutely delicious.

Well, maybe it was my greying old geek pony tail and my wife's blue hair, but "friendly and approachable" don't come to mind. Boudin? Think casing stuffed with spicy rice, crawfish, and peppers. Tasty enough but kind of meh. When I asked for what they'd recommend as a side they kind of looked at me funny. I ended up with cracklings. They were good. My beloved? She opted out. We're down at Anne's now getting shrimp. The gal here DOES know how to smile.

The boudin balls and boudin at Billeaud's Too are fantastic. Boudin balls are 2 inch diameter balls of boudin dressing that is rolled in flour and deep fried. Talk about good!! (Local expression that roughly means, "Oh, yeah, it's good! Let me tell you about it!") As other reviewers have noted, this plate lunch diner is attached to a gas station near US-90. The original Billeaud's is about 15 miles away in Broussard. The boudin at both locations is the same product and always fantastic. In the spring they also offer crawfish boudin. Both regular boudin and crawfish boudin are delicious. Perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of rice. On my last trip to Billeaud's Too I had the Red Beans & RIce with Sausage, which was very good. I saved half for later and then forgot it at my friend's house. I had to call her and tell her to eat it because it was too good to go to waste! This is a great stop for lunch on any driving tour across Acadiana.

Loved this place! We were traveling from Lafayette to New Orleans and I got on Yelp to find a good breakfast place on the way. We saw this place so took the next exit. As mentioned above, eating at a gas station is weird but this food is awesome! The biscuits are to die for. I got biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs over easy , bacon (a lot ) and potatoes. I never eat potatoes for breakfast but these were awesome. I also ordered $1.00 worth of cracklins just for the heck of it. I have never tasted fresh cracklins. I wasn't overly impressed. It wasn't awful but I had to take another bite of my biscuits am gravy so that would be my last bite :) If you're looking for fancy or someone to wait on you do not go here. But if you're passing through and want a very good breakfast for cheap make the stop. My only complaint was everything is served in three compartment to go containers. I don't mind eating on paper plates but for dining in I don't want dividers.
